Dr. Jetske Ultee: “Finding a good body product with real active substances is quite hard. I am referring to an unscented body lotion, that not only contains caring ingredients, but for example antioxidants, that protect the skin, as well. That is why I ended up developing one myself. This full, rich Body Cream goes one step beyond just moisturising and softening the skin. For example, by adding niacinamide, one of my favourite ingredients, which you will also find in my facial care products. Niacinamide not only protects against the damage from UV radiation, but also against the skin getting dry by strengthening the barrier function. Another fine ingredient in my new cream is liquorice root. I use a very concentrated and active extract. This can improve dry and damaged skin by reducing scaling and restoring the skin’s suppleness. Liquorice is also soothing and anti-inflammatory, which means that it can be nice for skin with (a tendency for) eczema as well.
My Body Cream doesn’t contain perfume and therefore has a neutral scent. The cream is not greasy or sticky, but it isn’t too light either. Because only mild ingredients are used, the product is suitable for the most sensitive skin, including your child’s skin. I like to use it after showering, and then I apply it all over my body.”

What is so special about this product?
The special thing about this Body Cream is above all the extra added active ingredients niacinamide and liquorice root extract. Research has shown that niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3, helps protect the skin against sun damage. The ingredient makes the skin strong and resilient again, and is soothing and moisturising. The same goes for liquorice root extract. That fine substance helps improve dry and damaged skin by reducing scaling and restoring suppleness. In addition, liquorice is soothing and anti-inflammatory.
When should I use the Body Cream?
If you want to keep your skin beautiful and strong, it is important to regularly apply it. Preferably just after showering when the skin is still a bit moist. This way all the cream’s ingredients are absorbed extra well and ensure your skin loses less moisture.
Does this product help prevent itching?
There are different causes of itching. One of which is dry skin. In that case it helps to keep your skin moisturised which is what this Body Cream does. In addition, this body cream contains soft, soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients. This is nice for an itchy or tight skin.
I suffer from keratosis pilaris. Can this cream help?
Keratosis pilaris is a condition that is characterised by a rough feeling skin with lots of tiny bumps – a bit like chicken skin. Those tiny bumps are the result of dead skin cells and keratin plugging the hair follicles. The Body Cream doesn't cure this. But we do know that this condition, which is very common among young people, often seems to improve when the skin is in good condition. You can use the Body Cream daily, or if possible twice a day, on the rough patches.
Do you use the Body Cream after sunburn as well?
Yes, you certainly can! Indeed, the sooner you apply the Body Cream on your skin after a day in the sun, the better. The cream’s ingredients help sooth and restore the skin. On top of that the product keeps the skin moisturised and supple. The cream is full and rich, but not greasy, and absorbs well.
Can you use the Body Cream when you are pregnant?
Yes, you can use this cream on your body when you are pregnant. Regular use keeps your skin supple and helps prevent dryness and itching.
