Dr. Jetske Ultee: “With this serum, I am hoping to help people who suffer from redness, spots and bumps on their face. Unfortunately, this is rather a large group. I also know that there are people who have tried all sorts of things and have more or less come to terms with the fact that nothing appears to help. This is too bad, because I am convinced that with the right care and advice improvement really is still possible. For me that was the reason to develop this product.

My new serum contains a very mild but effective variant of azelaic acid, which is a special ingredient with proven calming, anti-inflammatory and purifying effect. And because we know that redness and bumps don’t have the same cause for everybody, I have added more active ingredients. Like Piroctone olamine which kills yeast. Also, I used a very active Magnolia bark extract. Not only for its anti-bacterial properties, but also because it acts as an antioxidant.

To give you a good impression of what you can expect from the Serum, I will show you a few examples of the first group of users. Also, I want to let you know that you will have 8 weeks to test my new Serum. Not all skin reacts in the same way. Be aware that the problems can worsen a little at first. You need to persevere. I am convinced that my new product can help improve your skin. If you don’t see any improvement after two months you may return the product.”

Dr. Jetske Ultee: “To give you a good impression of what my Azelaic Serum can do for various skin problems, I want to show you some before and after photos of the various people who took part in my research. All participants were suffering from troubled skin – some of them for a long time already.

A few participants were already using some of my products, others weren’t. That didn’t matter. I wanted to find out to what extent their problems could be reduced by adding the Serum to their skincare routine. For most of them this was already the case after four to eight weeks.

Just take a look at the photos.”

"In these photos you can see how the redness and bumps on the skin have decreased. The inflammation has clearly been reduced. What’s invisible to the naked eye, but what we were able to see under the microscope, is the strong reduction in the number of demodex mites. An overgrowth of these skin mites often plays a role in causing rosacea or acne. This was the case for eleven of the participants at the beginning of the research. And in most cases, we saw a clear reduction after eight weeks of use."

"This participant has a relatively rare form of rosacea, which can cause cheeks to swell. You can clearly see that the redness has decreased. Her skin is calmer. And what was special to me was that this woman felt much more confident as a result of these improvements."

"On these photos you can see two effects of the Serum very clearly: the redness has decreased, and the pigment spots as well. These skin discolorations were the result of pimples and inflammation."

"I shared this image on my Instagram. What a great improvement of the bumps and redness! On this woman we also discovered an overgrowth of demodex mites under the microscope. This overgrowth, along with her skin problems, was reduced after eight weeks. Good to hear from this participant that she now uses much less make-up. Very nice!"

"This is our youngest participant, seventeen years old. He had already been suffering from blackheads and inflammations for several years. Peelings and treatments at the beauticians had failed to improve matters. Other than that, the boy did not have a skincare routine. He occasionally used a cream for dry skin.

We gave this participant a slightly different treatment plan. Aside from the Serum, he also received the Cleanser, Toner, Exfoliant and Suncare. When he suffered from dry skin, he could add his existing cream.

In these photos you can see the results after only four weeks (!) of use; so, my Step-By-Step Plan combined with the new Serum."

Frequently asked questions
Can my child also use the Serum against spots?

Yes, he or she certainly can! The Azelaic Acid Serum is very well suited for adolescent skin. It may be nice to know that Dr. Jetske Ultee’s sixteen-year-old daughter has greatly benefited from using the Serum. That was one of the reasons why she was really keen to introduce this product. If you are using the new Serum against acne, it is important to make sure that everything else is done right. For example, don’t forget to cleanse the skin with a mild cleanser every night.

Is the Azelaic Acid Serum vegan?

The Azelaic Acid Serum is vegan; the product does not contain ingredients obtained from dead or alive animals.

Should the Serum be kept in the refrigerator?

You don’t need to keep the Serum in the fridge during use. Do you keep a supply of the product? Make sure you keep it in a cool dark place. So, a windowsill is not a good idea.

Can you use the Azelaic Acid Serum when you are pregnant?

Can you use the Azelaic Acid Serum when you are pregnant? You may use the Serum during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

What exactly is Azelaic Acid and how does the Serum work?

Azelaic Acid is naturally present in the skin but can also be found in other sources such as wheat, rye and barley. It has anti-inflammatory and sebum-regulating properties and acts as an antioxidant. Dr. Jetske Ultee opted for a derivative of azelaic acid that is stable, mild and effective.

Aside from azelaic acid the Serum contains magnolia bark extract. This substance not only acts as an antioxidant, it also has antibacterial properties. An effective concentration of liquorice root extra was added for an extra soothing effect. In addition, the Serum contains the yeast killing ingredient Piroctone Olamine. Together the ingredients ensure that the skin becomes smoother. Problems such as redness and bumps lessen. Furthermore, the Serum has a lightening effect on certain pigment spots.
