What An Eventful Year…

2016 has been a truly exciting and eventful year. The year in which my own fine make-up line was launched. The year in which Uncover Skincare has already reached its sixth birthday, we moved to a super new location and we take our first steps in Germany. So much has happened and our whole team has worked very hard. And I am truly thankful for the mountain of reactions, questions and other interest shown.

At times the schedule was very busy in 2016. From television broadcasts and interviews to super photo shoots for our new make-up line, visits to our suppliers abroad, congresses and research meetings. We have produced a new book about sun protection, the web shop and my blog have been given a new look and in the meantime we were able to provide answers to hundreds of questions about the skin and skin care.

And while, one moment I was busy looking at colour charts for our new offices – where our own Skincare centre will shortly be opening and people are able to come in for a person skin analysis, the next moment I was in Italy analysing colour samples for our new foundations and powders.

Did you know that I am going to be expanding my own make-up line? New foundation shades are being added. But also new products such as a concealer, a lip product and a very fine oil.

Even more exciting: for the last two years work has been carried out on two new super products in terms of skin care and we will be launching them very soon! A product which you won’t ever want to be without and a gorgeous serum. My team is now putting the finishing touches on the packaging and photography and I cannot wait to show you all…

Time for each other
But first I will celebrate Christmas. Time for my family. For my husband and four lovely children who have often had to be without me in the last year.

Finally, I would like to give a big thank you to all the people who read my blogs and posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, for trusting in my advice, tips and in my products. For all your e-mails and ideas. There is nothing more wonderful to read than someone finally having the courage to leave the house without make-up on, thanks to advice from my blog.
