Despite all the knowledge I have about skin care an interview with a journalist is still rather nerve-racking. It feels as though you are never well enough prepared. Yesterday I had an interview for the AD, for a large three page article with photographs. It will be in next Saturday’s edition. We had decided beforehand to talk about products and safety, but it turned out that we talked mainly about ingredients. There is so much information, but also so little time. Fortunately I had already put the information that I had collected together onto paper and passed it to the journalist, so that she could also use it when she writes the article.<\/p>\n
A difficult question that I often get asked by people, and also in the interview, is what works and what doesn’t work. My answer to this is that it depends on what your expectations are. You won’t get rid of wrinkles with a cream. Your skin can become more calm, for example whereby spots or pimples can be reduced or your skin doesn’t get irritated so quickly.<\/p>\n
Another question is which products should they use. But I am not going to advise what to use. It is important though that products are chosen which don’t contain perfume or a high percentage of alcohol. Apart from that my advice is that you choose a product that suits your skin.<\/p>\n
After the interview there was a photo shoot. I was also having a conversation with the photographer about skin care and what was suitable for her skin. Saturday I’ll be at the newsagent’s first thing anyway!!<\/p>\n
