‘Opposed to Rubbish on the Cosmetics Market’

Well I have had so many lovely reactions from my story in the Dutch magazine Parool about the cosmetics market last Tuesday! In it I talk about my work and the skincare products which I have developed… To my great surprise it was also printed in the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper last weekend.

In the article I am quite honest in my opinion about the cosmetics market and industry. There are many claims made which need to be taken with a pinch of salt and that expensive creams are not always the answer. Unsuitable products or incorrect use of products can lead to skin disorders or allergies which are on the increase. Good skincare products are important though if you want healthy skin and ingredients such as Vitamin C, green tea, Glycolic Acid and Vitamins A and B3 can be very beneficial in the correct concentrations. Bringing out my own product line has been a trial but I have developed products which are free from irritating ingredients and can help with skin problems. I haven’t spent money on expensive advertising but hope that the people who use my products will see the difference themselves. There is no miracle cream if you don’t look after yourself either. Use suncream to protect against wrinkles and don’t expect results overnight.

Regards Jetske.
